Fred Samorodin, RPT as a manual therapist has extensive experience in helping clients with jaw pain and jaw joint instability, relieving pain and discomfort. If you have symptoms of jaw related pain, noisy (clicking) jaw joints, headaches, migraines, other temporomandibular (tem-puh-roe-man-DIB-u-lur) joint symptoms or a temporomandibular disorder, Fred Samorodin will treat your jaw complaints starting at your feet and up to your head, including inside your mouth (intra-oral manual therapy). Importantly, Fred will teach you how to self-manage your jaw and face problems at home to reinforce the help your dentist and I provide.
The craniosacral and osteopathic manual therapy for the jaw (TMJ/TMD) is a holistic technique which revolves around correcting the craniofacial alignment. The craniofacial sutures of the skull and face cannot be corrected until the sacroiliac and the weight-bearing joints of the body, including the neck, spine and shoulder girdles are balanced (read: unwound).
